Background
Originally from Thomasville, Georgia, Dr. Joshua R. Groves attended Berry College in Rome, GA for his undergraduate training. He graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 1996. He then attended Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA and graduated with an M.D. in 2001. After medical school, his internship and general surgery residency were completed in 2006 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Dr. Groves continued his training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis with a burn fellowship as well as a plastic Surgery fellowship from 2006 to 2007.
